The Terms and Conditions hereby transcribed cover all the sites of brands, products or services of the Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda company, as is the case of the site you are visiting.

1. Terms of Use and General Conditions

These General Conditions are applicable to the grutasmoeda.com website and there may be specific conditions for certain services made available through the grutasmoeda.com website.

Access to the website constitutes the user's acceptance of these Terms of Use and General Conditions and shall be in force as from the date of their first access to the website.

The company Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda reserves the right to modify these Conditions and Terms at any time. Should the user not agree with the proposed alterations, they may cease to use the grutasmoeda.com website.

2. Copyright and other Intellectual Property Rights

The grutasmoeda.com website is a registered website and the service rendered through the website itself is the responsibility of the Grutas da Moeda and Fátima, Lda. company with registered offices at Largo das Grutas da Moeda, s/Nº, parish of São Mamede, municipality of Batalha, Portugal, Postal Code 2495-028, under the single registration and collective person identification number No. 500095647, with a share capital of 100 000 euros, henceforth designated as "GRUTAS DA MOEDA".

The contents belonging to the Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda company, including brands, drawings, logotypes, text, images, audio and video materials belong solely and exclusively to the latter or to third party owners who have consented to their inclusion in the website and are protected under the general terms of the law and by the national and international legislation relative to the protection of intellectual property rights. It is not permitted to display, reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit or use the contents in any way for any public or commercial purpose without the prior express written consent of the Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda company.

However, the user may print any excerpt from the material contained in this site as long as it is not altered in any way, for personal and non-commercial use, including the indication of the source and copyright, and as long as any other indication of ownership is not removed.

3. Terms of Use

The use of the grutasmoeda.com website is free.

The User may, however, subscribe through the website to services and products which may have associated costs and conditions.

4. Liability

The grutasmoeda.com website has adequate security levels, some with the additional security of the SSL protocol (https://), however, as permitted by law, the Grutas da Moeda company shall not be held responsible for direct or indirect damages (including, merely indicative, damages for loss of data or profits) arising from use of the website, such as:

6. Cancellation, Refund and No Show Policy

6.1 Cancellation deadline
No cancellations are allowed after the 2 days preceding the ticket date.

In case of non-cancellation or no-show no refund of any kind will be made.

6.2 Reservation fee

Cancellations are allowed up to 2 days before the ticket date (until 17:00 of the 2nd day before the ticket date).

The amount to be refunded will be net of the 8% booking fee of the total ticket value.

6.3 Refund period

Refunds will be made within a maximum period of 14 days.

6.4 Cancellation and refund of payments made by credit card or MBWay

Payments made by credit card or MBWay will be refunded by the same means to the credit card holder or MBWay account holder who made the purchase.

Cancellations should be requested through an e-mail message to the address - info@grutasmoeda.com, with the following information:

PIN for verification of the electronic ticket
Name of the credit card holder or name of the MBWay account holder who made the purchase;

6.5 Cancellation and refund of payments made via the ATM or Payshop system

Payments made via the ATM or Payshop system will be refunded by bank transfer.

7. Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

The Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda company, within the scope of the rendering of its services, needs to collect some personal data from its clients.

On the other hand, the increasingly frequent interaction with our website users (henceforth designated as the Page) also requires, in some cases, the collection of the user's personal information in order to take advantage of the services rendered by the Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda company or the collection of data from their device (through files designated as cookies) to improve the Page's performance.

The Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda. company seeks to respect the best practices in matters of security and protection of personal data, promoting actions and improving systems in order to safeguard the protection of the data made available to us by our Clients.
Using and browsing our Website, filling in our forms and providing data directly or indirectly implies knowledge and acceptance of the conditions of the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and General Conditions and any other specific terms, policies and conditions. By providing your personal data, you are consenting to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of the same in accordance with the rules set out herein.

The company Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda also collects location data, with the prior consent of the Client, without prejudice to complying with the applicable legal regulations.

The Grutas da Moeda e Fátima, Lda company is especially concerned with the protection of the rights of minors and therefore the collection of personal data of minors under 18 years of age is dependent on the consent of the respective parents/guardians. For this purpose, when collecting data from minors, the e-mail address of the parents / guardians will be requested to confirm that they consent to the processing of personal data of minors in question.

In case of dispute, in the interpretation or application of the present conditions, the competent court is the district of Porto de Mós, with express renounce to any other. Although it has been translated into English and Spanish, the document in Portuguese language prevails.

Under the terms of nos. 2 and 3 of article 14 of Law 24/96, of 31 July, in the wording given by Law 63/2019, of 16 August, consumer disputes of reduced economic value are subject to necessary arbitration or mediation when, at the express option of consumers, they are submitted to an arbitration tribunal attached to the legally authorized consumer dispute arbitration centres. Consumer disputes of low economic value are deemed to be those whose value does not exceed the jurisdiction of the courts of 1st instance (5,000.00 euros).
